Take time for yourself: Your body needs this time to recover and regain strength. Learn the simple exercises for your little daily routine with or without your baby.
Every woman who manages to take care of her own well-being after giving birth is investing in her future health. Yoga helps every woman in different ways. In this workshop, we will invest time and awareness primarily for bodily areas and functions that now have to gain back strength such as the pelvic floor and abdomen. There are a number of certain things to be taken care of in order to safely balance your body again after pregnancy.
All women who just have experienced an abortion (natural or through surgery) or those of you who have lost their child are warmly welcome. A circle of women (also including newborn babies) is very powerful and may help you to heal the wounds, that need to be taken care of right now. Your body and soul needs the same kind of Yoga-Practice as a woman who just gave birth.
This workshop will be conducted by Barbara.
Usually at the end Irina will introduce you to Carrying Methods and why it is such a beautiful thing for Binding with your little one. She is on maternity leave now, that's why we will close with tea an some little snacks this time.

Barbara's passion and profession are to guide people to their inherent resources of health and happiness. Since more than 20 years she follows her passion for learning with and through the body. She works as a Somatic Coach, Counselor and Yoga Teacher in Vienna and Asia. In her groups and retreats, you will not only be guided into the healing technics but feel the depth of really being touched deeply in who you are.
In addition to her Yoga teacher training with Prasad Rangnekar, she completed the training in Pre- and Postnatal Yoga with Romana Delberg, Tina Nirtl, and Katarina Kreindl at the Yogawerkstatt in Vienna and is currently in training as a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Therapist.
Her classes give you a firm and strong foundation in every aspect of yoga to directly start your daily self-practice, as well as a broader understanding of why you are doing what you learn during the yoga Asana class.
Irina Locher has been an avid pediatric nurse at the AKH Vienna for over 10 years. There she supports and accompanies families with their premature or sick babies during their stay. Due to her own two children, she has become an enthusiastic carrying mother and has therefore trained as a certified carrying consultant. She wants to support young families with her knowledge in order to make the world, which can turn such a small baby upside down, a little easier again.
RAUM für NEUES is a co-working space, founded by Barbara Probst and Daniela Razocher in 2013. It is a little quiet oasis above the roofs of Vienna in the city centre near the Volksoper.
RAUM für NEUES offers its visitors a wide range of possibilities of somatic coaching. A group of practitioners work daily in personal sessions with clients on their physical, emotional and psychological needs in order to support them on their way to health and well-being. Apart from this, you can find Yoga-Classes, Workshops, Lectures, Community gatherings and much more.
The place has 2 big working rooms of around 25-27m2 each, a spacious entrance area, a big bathroom, toilet and kitchen/office.
