Embedded in the serene landscape of Austria's mountains, I welcome you in the quiet embrace of nature. If you have never been there before - the mountains give strength and peace. This is exactly the feeling that has been drawing me to the mountains for many years, to get in touch with my deep healing silence. Therefore, I am looking forward to welcoming you to this place of spiritual power and peace.
In this Silence Retreat I invite you to eight days of meditation, yoga and getting back into your rhythm with nature. It will bring silence and healing. These days in the mountains will reconnect you to your innermost healthy core and to your nourishing self-healing capacities.

Meditation and Yoga go together very well: Yoga offers a wonderful way to introduce you to being mindful and aware of your body, breath and mind. Meditation calms your body and mind and balances the soul. It is a concentration technique that can be learned by anyone, as you only need your breath and youself.
Meditation enables you to arrive in the here and now. This has the effect that your own thought pauses will be expanded. Your restless mind become slower or stops for a certain time. While following your breath with your attention, your head will feel emptier and freer again.
Both ancient techniques, Yoga and meditation, are beneficial for the whole body-mind-complex. The Silence Retreat has the capacity to create a "needed break" from your daily life and thought pattern. It also allows you to recharge energy and joy, while spending some days for yourself, within a "save space". You give time to what needs time, now.
I invite you to put yourself and your needs in the first place and to bring patience, interest and a relaxed persistence. With each breath and with each step you can re-connect and rest again.
Why retreat?
During the Silence Retreat we will enter the realm of healing: a space where you become more at ease with yourself and the things that keep you busy. This is the space and time needed to be in touch and re-connect with yourself, your intuition and your true purpose in life.
We will retreat for a full week for recreation and recovery. We will leave the busyness of the city and our everyday stress behind, spending our time in the middle of nature. We will sense that our bodies get calm and our minds become more quiet.
You will find peace of mind and rest through nature, a very special community of like-minded people and simple days without any obligation. Silence will create the needed space and time for yourself.
Our days without internet and telephone, fully immersed in Yoga and Meditation will be your treatment. You will find your nourishing base within amidst others in Silence.
Silence is a source of true healing. Once the activities of the mind calm down, this process will start.

This retreat is not only for advanced yogis, also complete beginners can experience and learn yoga and meditation in these four days and be inspired by the many health effects and positive impact. The retreat is also suitable for experienced yogis to have an even more profound yoga experience and pick up new inspirations.

The healing place.
The chalet is a newly renovated 300 years old mountain farmers-house in the lower alps in Styria, surrounded by forests and meadows. The house and the whole area nearby are ancient power places, that invite you to come into silence and peace. The place is a place to be.
The chalet offers 5 rooms with 2-4 beds including their separate bathroom and toilet. The whole interior is made of natural materials. Even the new roof and Seminar-Room was built out of the families own wood from their forests.
It has 3 floors. The entrance floor with its cosy kitchen and dining area, next to the oven, which we fire with wood. What a lovely smell and energy. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and on top is another bedroom as well as the Yoga and Meditation Room.
This place of peace and harmony supports in its very special way each individual on his/her spiritual and personal journey. The beautiful nature and the peaceful atmosphere of the chalet cause a feeling of coming home and thus create the perfect framework to fully engage with yourself.

Hello, I am Barbara, the founder of BE IN TOUCH.
I am a professional Somatic Coach, trained in the Grinberg Method, Hatha Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pre- and Postnatal Yoga, Reiki, Ayurveda, as well as a professional Educational Scientist.
I am currently under the guidance of my dear teachers Prasad Rangnekar (Hatha Yoga), Doug Keller (Yoga Therapy), Joachim Pfahl (Trauma Sensitive Yoga), The team of the embody lab (including Peter Levin, Staci K. Hains, Dr. Rae Johnson, and Trista Zinn (Hypopressives Canada).
I love to retreat myself to immerse into silence. Being part of a group, while somebody is holding the space is a beautiful gift for the health of our global community. In a retreat we can fully drop all efforts, slowly entering a very simple, pure and "effortless" state of being. For me it always feels like coming home, to a place within where I can clearly see and feel what is essential in life. This is my motivation to provide and hold the space for you during these days.
